This is a single shot version of a star wars-type blaster i made by mixing the sound of a cable tap with a gunshot.

Recording of a high powered rifle (i forget which) firing a single shot. Used in a flash game as sfx.

This is a little mixup i did to get the gunshot sound i wanted for a action video, hope you guys like it. I used alot of different samples from freesound and wanted to share my result with you.

The sound of socking a gun and firing it. Clicking sounds are from an airsoft pistol, the bang is a modulated sample from a soundboard.

This is a mostly unprocessed sound that i made in massive. Its not amazing, but it can be used for layering multiple sample. I figured anyone who wanted to use this would want to process it themselves. If it helps, i used this video to create a kick drum and i discovered this sound by playing around with different waves. Here is the sound of a 50-caliber barrett rifle being fired. You'll first hear the sound of the bolt being pulled back. Really cool sound if you can listen on some nice big speakers. Recorded with my handy zoom h4n using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. I was standing about 20 feet from the rifle, and i still have the input gain turned way down to about 30, just to make sure the circuitry was not overloaded. Also, since this was in a big, wide-open field, you get a nice echo.
